Dine here quite frequently it&#39;s our place to go to, but tonight the service was extremely slow. We were informed that there was up to a 40 minute delay on food, but it was longer. We sat down at 7pm and our mains didn&#39;t arrive until half past eight. Very disappointed. I understand that the garden was busy but we had booked well in advance for the restaurant and it seemed that we were not a priority.

Great food and efficient and pleasant service.  We got the window seat we requested and had a lovely meal.  I&#39;d recommend this venue.

I loved the relaxed atmosphere, we were not rushed and the service was excellent. We all enjoyed mains and puddings. All positive really.

very friendly helpful staff. Requested  a certain table and as it wasn&#39;t clear enough which one I wanted they reserved three that were similar throughout resturant.

Lovely restaurant with great location. Food excellent and we were delighted that even the dogs were catered for. As a vegetarian I was disappointed that the only veggie main course( aubergine parmigiana)  was unavailable, so I ended up having the mushroom burger- a processed patty that was not great. I don&rsquo;t always want to have a veggie burger when I eat out but so often this seems to be the only option. Puddings we&rsquo;re delicious and overall, our party of 6 had a great meal.

The staff were very friendly and welcome us and especially our dog. The food was great and it felt very cosy when it was lashing it down outside. I would really recommend,
